Default Clear side markers are back...

I haven't noticed these for sale in a while now. If you are looking for them, check this out:

2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 Crossfire Mopar Clear Side Marker Lights 2pc | eBay

Price is average since delivery is included. These are for the front, but can be used for the rear as well with slight modification.

What "slight modification" would one have to make to make it fit in the back exactly ?

I've been looking to put some dark red back end side markers on the front, those clear markers pop out to much
and i don't like the orange ones because i have red ones in the back

A 3/8" (?) hole must be drilled (hidden) for the spring clip to catch. These are made for the front.

I got a super deal on mine about two years ago... $80 shipped. Still worth the $120 shipped IMO... they really clean up the look of the front. Made a dramatic difference on my graphite car...

I wanted to ask everyone their opinion on a black SRT 6 roadster. Part of me likes the yellow actually, part of me wants to shade them and the other part of me wants to do the clears. I am at a total LOSS. Please help. Thoughts?

Clears all the way.

If you want some amber up front when lit, many members run amber corner bulbs in the upper corner of the headlamp. Looks great!

The same can be done for the sides if you prefer the amber lighting, but it will give the clear marker an "egg yolk" appearance.

A pricier option is the chrome 194 bulbs on ebay that glow amber, but appear chrome during the day.

So even on black? I see some of the official CF pictures showcasing the SRT Roadster in black acutally have clears. I plan to stay with lighter colored rims (not black) on the car and leave all the silver in place as well.

If so, then clear side markers and amber LED's might be the way to go. I tried the "Stealth" (mirrored) 194's in them, but, to me, it looks like they are standard clear 194 bulbs that have burned out.

Look for these:

194 168 W5W 2825 Inverted Lenses

Here:

194 168 W5W 2825 Map Led Parking Signal Marker Bulbs

They are about 3/4 the way down the page. They fire to the sides and reflect off the internal mirroring inside the sidemarker housings.

Oh, and you'll want to get rid of the "egg yolk" look from the turn signal bulbs too:

I am considering trying to get hold of a cheap pair of red rear side markers from one of you US guys for the rear of my black xfire, because I hate the yellow ones we have in the UK and serve no purpose here, so if anyone changes their red rear ones to clear I could take your red ones off your hands depending on price that is. or I could wrap them in black to blend in with the colour of the car.

Are the red rear markers a requirement in the US??

Technically, yes, they are. And they are not offered for sale in the UK. But, they are available here in the US/Canada market and maybe you can ask someone to buy and ship them to you. Last I checked, (2009?) they were ~ $21 per side.

Hope this helps?

Contact MrMoPar on the forums... I know he's got a nice set of red ones from the chassis I sold him. Not sure what shipping would be to the UK...

The seller is Sherwood, that's the old AutoExlusive. I had worked out at 15% discount for us. I wonder if they would still do that. Check with James if you call them.

I just don't like the fact they are not flat. I don't care for the bubble look of these lights.
