Unhappy Headlights cleaning kit works! And one new problem

Hi all,

I've had my 2004 for two weeks now and still working through the isses. Friday night was the first time we drove it at night. The headlights didn't cast any llight but the high beams looked fine. I thought it was the haziness of the headlights so yesterday I used the 3M headlight restoration kit with the 500, 800 and 3000 grit wheels for an electric drill. Add some buffing compound and they came out looking almost new. I was very impressed.

Then started checking to see how well the headlights would show up. The headlights still are weak, especailly the passenger side. so I took the rubber covers off the back. The metal clips that hold the lights are missing, does anyone know if these parts are avaialable from the dealer or autoparts store? Also, one of the lamps was just sitting it the well, I tried to reseat it but cant find the sweet spot. Is there a trcik to this? The other lamp seats well although I'm having trouble getting the clip on, its a tight spot in there. Thanks Bob

Send a PM to MrMopar, he has " The Crossfire Shop" he may be able to provide the clips you need.

If you send a "please, please, please" IM to maxcichon, he might take pity on you.
