Default Laser Projector Crossfire Logo in door

I just stumbled across this here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Laser-Projector-Chrysler-Logo-LED-Door-Welcome-Light-300-Sebring-Aspen-Crossfire-/321360505893?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ad2942c25&vxp=mtr
Don't know if I like it or not but I'm sure someone would actually appreciate this very much. I assume one of those with the light up door sills!
What do you guys think? I assume these would be nice with custom projector images such as "Crossfire" or SRT6!

Seems to be fairly easy to install and cheap too!

This is cheap yes, but these things don't last whatsoever. They burn out very easily, and aren't worth DRILLING a hole in the bottom of the door for.

Didn't even look close enough to see the free gift. I might have to go back now and just check out the free gift out of curiosity...what is it? Flash light? Free China knife? A microfiber towel?? HAHA

The kits that actually are worth installing will run you a good 100 bucks, just a heads up. They will last, and have a professional build as well.

Holy cow I took a look at this thing again. OK, admitted I like the idea (if done professionally like Adrian_X mentioned) but damn that drill bit tool that comes with the kit just looks scary. No way would I ever go ahead and drill a huge hole like that in my door...it would look horrendous not to mention I'd be very suspicious of rust in that particular hole!

There's other better projectors with logos out there that you can mount flush to the bottom of the door. Not quite as bright, but still works.

i bought a set, am yet to install them , you dont drill into the metal , but into the plastic , or use the black caps in the door to put them in those , (make a hole in the cap) i will test them soon , i dont see why they would fail , metal build for heat dissipation although they wont be on long enough usually to fail anyways. once it cools off they are going in my car
