I have the bulb light on the dash lit up all of the time but I do not seem to have any bulbs not working. My 2005 model was fitted prior to me purchasing it with some halogen rear light bulbs. When I put the car in reverse the bulb on the dash goes out. When I put it back to drive or park it comes on.

i ran into similar problem a while back. Although fuses were being blown. The bulb sockets for the taillites have an extra groove cut into the side of the socket , so its possible tp index the bulb wrong when installing new bulbs. Pull the light assemblies and make sure the bulb pins line up with correct socket grooves.
