Default Rocker panel cleaning today

Thanks to the PDF, removing the rocker panels are fairly easy.

Before

After. I had some wheel cleaner that someone gave to me that I don't use. But it works great on rocker panels. Wheel cleaner, a scrubby, then some polishing compound, then wax and almost brand new.

While the panels are off, this is a good time to blow out leaves and debris from behind your fender. I used an air gun from the wheel housing and also from the door opening.

I wiped down the hidden parts of the body with some Express Wax.

This has to be the best the rockers looked since I have owned the car!

Anyone have an extra rivet or two? Not the white ones. One was broke and I broke one. 05097735AA

They can be found online, but shipping puts them out of the park!

Got a picture of what you need? I have a lot of extra fasteners.

There is a couple of views in the PDF referred to that shows the fasteners in question.
CLICK
The white fasteners showing are;
Chrysler part# 05101311AA
Mercedes part# 170 988 08 78
I broke some of these when I did this job, they were $4.00 each at that time and are probably twice that now. I purchased them at the Chrysler dealer.
There is quite possibly a lot of garbage behind the rear of the front fenders, when I repaired the W/washer tank I found a lot of leaves and debris there. It is a good spot for rust to start unnoticed.

I have a few fasteners that look like that. They are 3/4” across the largest diameter. Need a couple of those?
