Default Favorite / best car cover for convertible

Hi all, Wondering if anyone has identified a high quality car cover for the Crossfire convertible? Using a garage is not feasible for me and I’ve already had to replace the top and surely will have to do so again. Help!

Your location and type of weather could help with recommendations.

I've owned a dozen covers over the years. The best cover is a port or garage but clothe covers seem to always deteriorate faster than I would like. I've had the heavy (multi layer) covers and they seem to lose their water proofing after 2 or 3 years. I've also had the thin 4 layer covers and they no longer repel water within a year. The most significant deficiency with these covers (all of them) is that they produce micro scratching. This is particularly apparent with black - to which I am partial. The tighter you can make these covers fit the better. I run a rope over the cover to keep it from moving in the wind. This is just my experience. Also, you somewhat get what you spend but I find there's a limit to that as well. $30 covers work well if you have the vehicle sheltered from high wind and severe weather. The more expensive covers certainly seem to look and feel better but if you have cats that spray their territory you will have a rotting cover in a short period of time regardless of how much you spend.
