Question Question

We will have a test car here at our disposal in the coming weeks. Are there any accessories or parts that you're looking for that no one in particular is making? We'd like to get a few new things developed and just want to test the waters as to what most people are interested in. Please let us know and we'll see what we can do!

Thanks!

Thumbs up Re: Question

Regarding the diffusers, are you looking for something special or something other than what we already offer?

The Carbon Hood, are we talking about just a direct fit option that doesn't have anything special on it?

Side skirts are doable, we already have something in the works for it... Should those be carbon as well?

Thanks for the input, it is much appreciated!

Sorry, overlooked the diffusers on your site.
I would think a direct fit hood, but should come with a nice set of hold-downs, as these puppies tend to flap at speed.
I have no problem with ABS for the skirts, would paint them anyway.

One other thing I thought of : In addition to the 'stick-on' SS windshield surround pieces, how about a REPLACEMENT set. Many people tend to lose the OEM ones.

Thumbs up Re: Question

We've been in contact with a few manufacturers regarding that windshield garnish. Just trying to find the right one to make it in quantity that it will still be affordable! We're working hard on that front, just because so many people are in need of them. The hard part is the attaching hardware. Those clips that are on there are the devil's handiwork! We're working on trying to make it a one piece set up where the clip is already part of the trim. We're thinking that may be a bit better than the metal clips that separate so often causing the old trim pieces to become air born.

Again, thanks for the input! Hopefully some other people weigh in so we get a good idea of what everyone wants to see come out of it...

All the above Plus :
Better looking Headlights, with DRLs inside. Call Taiwan ?
Tail lights masks with cutouts to give the look of round lights.

Dave,

For the taillight covers, are you looking for a body color piece? Just a tinted piece? Something that you could paint to match? Please elaborate!

For the DRL is an addition a possibility? I'm not sure what everyone's comfort level with opening their headlamps is... We have a concept LED strip that can be set up as a switch back (amber/orange) that people have used in their headlamps to make DRLs.

Opaque tail light covers/ masks that could be painted to match the car would be ideal .
They would need 3 cutouts to show the lights plus another little cut to show the reflector .

Re Headlights , there are allready so many diy DRLs on the market it wont be worth it.
If you made something new and unique ie an entirely new headlight assembly now that would be very cool. It should include DRLs built in. This headlight should be plug an play.
Also, If the lenses were simple to remove people could paint the inside some to match their car colour.
It would take some serious investment on your part to but hey these cars are allways going to need headlights.
A manufacturer could easliy take a mould from the stock lights and remodel the inside into something wicked .
cheers

Front Bumper lip/splitter
Side skirts(easy to install)
Sequential Tail Lights, stock tail lights are super outdated, plus there are no aftermarket options
Replacement subs would also be amazing( plug and play)

Thanks for the input stz561. We're actually working with a new company deveolping some test splitters for our Viper Store. We'll bring up the Crossfire version with them and see what shakes out. The tail lights are a great idea and we've been searching for a company to make lights that is actually domestic and isn't outrageous with pricing.

Thanks again! We'll keep updating when we can!

Side skirts and spliters would be nice. I was one of the forum members in the past that was taken by a DIFFERENT vendor for 2 sets of side skirts. I feel that some of the forum members over complicated their wants, resulting in a Ill fitting side skirt failure that no one was satisfied with. If you were to jack up your car and check out all the different moulded shapes and jack pocket cut outs just to make the bottom side. Then theirs the section that curves upward just behind our doors. Then the side skirts need to be flexed somewhat to mount and members still wanted them made from fiberglass. Our origionals were made from ABS plastic for a reason. I don't see why anyone would want to duplicate a great fitting part. Most any desired shape or design can be made from fiberglass or ABS plastic as an (overlay). Proper fitting side skirts with full length 3M double sided mounting tape applied over our factory side skirts curves. This would bring down the cost and resulting in a great fit. Squirrel Crusher

Hey everyone. We've found a company to delve into the headlight and tail light tint/covers! Now the question is does anyone have a donor headlamp or tail light they would be willing to donate to the cause?! We would be gentle and return it in its original condition. Just let us know!

ala_xfire,

I think that will do. We found a company who is willing to vacu-form some overlays for the headlights too that can be painted so if you know anyone who's got a spare old headlamp laying around that would be great! Once we're ready I'll shoot you a PM and arrange pick-up with you if that is alright with you?

Thanks!

Dave,

We appreciate the kudos. We're always trying to grow our Crossfire store and what better place to find out what is in demand than here?

We'll do our best to get something together shortly. There will be two options. The vinyl tint covers with the actual cut outs for the bulbs to show, and then a solid opaque acrylic piece that can be mounted over the top with the cut outs that is able to be painted to match the cars. Once we are able to find some donor headlights we'll get the ball rolling!

Stay on top of this thread to keep informed!

Thanks!

What would be nice is a kit to move the seat back two inches when tilted back for taller drivers.
