To report them, click on the red X in the top left of the post. Then just type in SPAM or something letting us know what it is, etc. We will get an email notification and then we can come in and remove it.
Thanks.
Caution to all you spammers...

Two thoughts:
1. Are they constantly posting in the "general" forum because they have an automated system and the automated system doesn't know the titles of the other forums by default? If so, either drop the general forum, or alternatively make it invisible and let them post away.
2. Are there spam or other filters available for newsgroups?

the bots are set up to look for the "general" or "off topic" forums. the Russian spammers feel they are not breaking email rules by spamming message boards.
anyone in charge can run the IP's and find that most of them will come back from a thid world sh*thole country that most likely has not one resident that has ever seen a Crossfire in person.
i had a link to the software they use but it doesn't work any more. trust me, it's automated and you're screaming at something that won't hear you.

I think that if all real forum members do their part, we will keep get most of the spam off the site quickly. I myself have reported 3 or 4 instances in just the past couple of days. It's kind of like graffiti - you have to quickly remove it and keep removing it as soon as possible.
