I just wanted to take a few minutes and tell everyone about the birth of our first child!!! His name is Lucas and his name in Latin means "bringer of light". This certainly is one of the most joyous things to ever happen to my wife and I.

Maybe if he's lucky I'll let him drive my car when he turns 16. Then again, maybe I won't!!! We'll see if he's as good a driver as his "old man".

As my wife just added..."Tell them we put the car seat in our "other car" (2003 VW Passat Wagon).

HAHAHA...I wish that was true. Before you can take a dog home it must be 10 weeks old. A baby on the other hand, it's 2 days in the hospital then out the door with no manual or service log or furthest instructions. We're on cloud nine though and couldn't be happier.

Well, the boy's 2 months old right now and I just wanted to post up a new picture for you all to see.
