Surprise, surprise?
There is a non-five star Chrysler dealer I often drive by. This summer they had three 2005 Crossfire roadsters and one 2005 limited coupe.
After having no Crossfires on display for months, they now have ten on display, eight roadsters and two limited coupes, and they are on display front and center, even on the sidewalk right next to the showroom. They are 2005s and their mileage suggests lease returns or program cars.
Do you suppose this is part of a final push to get rid of the remaining 2005 Crossfires, maybe to make way for the 2007s?

I'm just wondering if you got the "one of 2,016" made quote from somewhere specific? I'd like to find out how many 2005 SRT 6 Coupes are out there. I haven't seen any other than my own in person.
According to the dealer search on the Chrysler website, there is a number of 2005 SRT-6 Coupes available in the Florida market. The dealer search really sucks because it shows all dealers sorted by distance from your location, but if you go through 1-by-1, you can find the SRT-6's. The website indicated they are offering $5,000 cash allowance on the SRT-6's.
I ran a quick search for San Francisco area and found 2 at: Pacific Coast Chrysler Jeep 1266 SOQUEL AVENUE SANTA CRUZ, CA 95062-2193 Phone: (831) 423-5820.

What I meant was, I'd like to know how many 2005 SRT6 Coupes were made by Chrysler. I just want to know how rare my car really is since I never see any others on the road but I see other model Crossfires.
They did have one SRT, a convertible with 3,500 miles at $33,000.
Other convertibles had 1,400 miles to 5,750 miles, ranging in list price at $28,000 to $30,000.

Ok here is the email I got back from Chrysler... A few more than we thought! Guess I have 1 of 333.
"Dear Dan:
Thank you for your recent email to DaimlerChrysler Motors Corporation.
According to our records, there were a total of 2,944 Chrysler Crossfire
SRT-6 vehicles produced. Of that figure, 2,016 where Coupe models and
928 were Roadsters. While I was unable to determine that 333 of the Roadster vehicles where black in color, I was unable to locate further information regarding the color production.
Thank you again for your email.
Sincerely,

Here ya go guys... right from Chrysler to you...
