Yeah, that tool is way off. I have two clients I check, who make a million+ per year just through their domain and each of one of their domains are worth less than 10k.

 

maybe if there was advertisement ads on here, it would be worth that much due to the amount of traffic the site pulls in.

Hi,Its easy to estimate the value of a domain a name..Mainly the value of a domain name is based on its extension,the .com domains are rated high rather than others also there are other factors which depends are domain name(short and easy to remember),traffic,page ranking etc..if you want to know the exact value of your domain you can go for domain appraisal..im having more than 8 domains of which i sold 3 where i got estimated value from ZippoZap Domain Name Appraisals and that too for free of cost..
