I think we should ban forest fires! Did you see all the smoke and ash being spewed into the atmosphere?
How will Al blame this on automobiles? Wish it would warm up to fall temps all year here, I wouldn't have to put the car away next weekend.
(satire only - not meant to belittle anyone caught in this tragedy).

Ah, but that smoke and ash make for beautiful sunsets!!

In all seriousness, I wish they could find a way to ban forest fires - we're sort of surrounded by them at the moment though not in any real danger from anything other a lot of smoke and ash. The Crossfire isn't leaving the garage until this is over, and I do know how fortunate I am to still have a garage, much less the car to put in it. We're approaching 2,000 homes lost throughout SoCal at the moment and there's a long way to go still.
