We bought the car late July. I guess we were doing more driving than photos and now it is stored in the garage, see gallery shots. So I don't have any other photos to send for consideration bummer

OK Rapps,
I found these pics from my photos I took last year at WDC. It's the only two I have and I sent the original files to tom2112 email for consideration for the calendar.

Tom
Will they allow a back cover/page with some photos that were in a "honorable mention" category?
That would be great.

Unfortunately, the CafePress calendar format is fixed - no back cover.

However, your question has made me decide to reveal a little surprise I was planning. I was planning to create a couple different layouts.

There is a single page yearly calendar which is 11x17", and also an oversized 12 month calendar which each page is 11x17" (as opposed to the 8.5x11 for the standard calendar). There is also a vertical format 12 month calendar which is which has an 11x11" photo area.

With all of that said, the non-standard calendars will be difficult to make, because they require VERY high resolution images. I'm hoping that I can make one of each style available, but that will depend on the resolution and the layout of the images.

So hopefully there will be 4 calendar styles available. I'm not guaranteeing that right now, but I'll do my best. Like I said above, it is largely dependent on the resolution of the images people send me.

There are not any rules that I know of that say you can't put more then one photo per month or to put a collage of several xfires .

Just a thought.

At what point will you be seeking buyers of the calendar? I hope you post a message or somehow send one to all forum members that states the calendar is ready to purchase...I'd hate to miss it when it's done.

Maybe next time I'll be ready to submit a photo too...weather has been too crappy to take one recently.

Looking forward to seeing your work...thanks all...

The collage may even be a good cover.

If you have higher resolution copies of the photos that you submitted, please send me the HIGHEST resolution that you have. They will reproduce better on the calendar, and can be used in the larger formats.

That goes for ANYONE with higher res images to submit, not just Flores.

I had thought of that as well. Which is how I put together the yearly format calendar. It's a one page calendar that shows the whole year, and only get's one photo. So I made a collage of some of my favorite images. It is available for purchase right now.

The files i sent you were 3456 x 2304. I use a Rebel XT 8mp camera... the only bigger format out there is RAW files which i don't use. that the best i got... i have a TON more pics... but they are difficult to send because of the size of the pics

Sorry, I misunderstood you above. I thought you meant you had higher res images than the ones you sent me.
