We just finished shooting yesterday and I hope you all enjoy the work we put into the show... It airs February 17th on NBC... I gotta tell ya, there's some wicked chase and crash scenes we shot and we destroyed 6 Mustang GT500 KR's... Please watch the movie and maybe it will go into series and I can keep playing with fast cars at work and my fast Crossfire on the weekends...

MAX, I don't write them, I just shoot them... And any show that pays me to race around in cars and crash them on camera, I'm all over it... This was a dream job, I hope it goes to series... Wait until you see the SUV chase / crash scene, you'll S H I T !!!

Much more fun than doing a 9 to 5 in an office...

I saw that beast at the Detroit Auto show...does it really run as fast as it looks, or is it "all show no go"?

More importantly...how did it do against your X-Fire?

 

I didn't race it in my Xfire... We had 6 of them for the KITT car during the filming... The "HERO" car is wicked fast 600+ hp...

Actually...I like the regular (non double spoiler) version. I always liked "sleepers" though!

 

The car "morphs" from 3 different versions of modification... It's kinda silly but looks great... The double wing with black wheels and strobing hood light is the "attack mode"...

No, we used stunt drivers since I'm responsible for the camera work...

Well yes, sort of... We crashed the GT500 KR's that had the smaller NA engine instead of the ones with the 600 hp SC engine... We also completely destroyed a Chev SUV, ran it into a 40,000 lb steel barrier... Oops, sorry it's upside down.

 

That was some impact! Was anybody hurt bad in that?

 

The SUV was remote controlled... We destroyed the camera that was inside...

 

You guys just love breaking things in the hollywood biz...

 

I've never really forgiven Hollywood for destroying all those Chargers on the "Ducks of Hazzard" (a show I refused to watch). But you can destroy all the Mustangs and SUV's ya want. They can just make more.
