Crackberries
I just got one yesterday and honestly, it's like a DVR, you never thought you were missing so much until after you use one. It has to be the best all-in-one mobile device I have ever used. I'm sure some of you have them but I can see why they are called what they're called.
I got the 8830 from Sprint and it's awesome. I know an iPhone might be able to do some of the same things and might be "cooler" but since I use it for work and communicating between friends (that also have BB's) it kills the iPhone in functionality.

I am on BlackBerry #3 - the greatest inventions on Earth. I had the Pearl 8100, then the Curve 8300, and now the Curve 8310 with GPS. My sister has the iPhone. It's an "okay" phone, but it has some serious limitations, such as the "virtual" keyboard and the fact that you can't view MMS messages. BlackBerry's ROCK!!

i too have a BB. the 8830. needless to say i stay up on all things BB just because you truly don't know what you missed until you have it.
the BB Bold is actually not an exclusive from my understanding. It will in fact be released to all providers simultaneously.
Gator, I believe you actually have the 8820... same phone just sprint version. its dumb how they do it but they renumber for each provider... its all the 8800 series which is considered more for the businessman (or woman) rather than the pearl/curve which is often considered more of a leisure BB (though i'm not sure if there is such a thing, because no matter which one i had it would still be going off all the time with work emails and such)
-I'm not a businessman, I'm a business, man.
I am only 21 and I have run PDA's since I first got a cell phone when I was 17. Since then I have switched phones every 3 months or so. THus far I have found that my fav manufactorer is HTC. They make the 8325, 8525, and the new ATT Tilt. I do have some experience with the black berry although and I would say my only complaint would be no touch screen model. I now have a Trea 750 and I absolutly love it. I switch to my iPhone often when I go out, but nothing compares to the processor speed of a Treo for e-mails and the internet. Just my 2 cents
