Amazing gas prices... can they go lower?
I think here in Chicago the lowest I have seen close to home is $1.99 for regular... though I think that was some gimmick about buying a carwash with the fill up... I don't know.
I'm pretty sure it is right around $2.09 for regular at most stations...which is completely fine with me.

Still high. Only $2.16 in Tucson just 70 miles away.
What gets me is here in LA, prices are around $2.29/gal for the regular stuff, then I see that in places like in the mid west that don't have refineries, (I don't think), the prices always are lower. We have many of the refineries out here on the coast and you would think the gas would be cheaper because there are no long distance's to drive to deliver from the refinery to the local gas stations.
Smokes are cheap by you too. There up to $10 a pack here in the City (NY that is).
I paid $2.74 for 93 octane today in Rockland County.
