Kit, my car had white stuff on it too....but it was ashes, not snow, from all the fires we had out here. I live about 6 miles from the "freeway fires" as the news called them. I was sitting out by the pool under my patio, and it literally looked like snow was falling from all the ash. I was out driving and was kinda freaking out that a hot ash might land on my top and burn a hole. I was kinda close to the fire's while I was driving, like maybe three miles away. Just wasn't sure if a hot ember could travel that far, but still freaked me out. My wife's brother had to evacuate, but had no damage. Sorry for the devation from your thread.

I have to agree, these are nice pictures. My parents are from Toledo and as a kid we would fly back to Ohio for Xmas, and I do remember the show, and the cold! We keep our snow in the local mountains!

Someone needs to call Al Gore and let him know that global warming has been cancelled.

Nice pics RickZ!

HOLY ****!!! My 300ZX on summer tires were f'ing better then this!!!

OMG, like wow...I literally got stuck in less then an inch of snow on flat terrain...woah....winter tires might actually be necessary.

To move at all I had to rock the car out and have traction control off. Once I got up to a bit of speed I turned the T/C back on then.

Here's the weird thing though. When I start moving and floor it a bit the back end of the car moves quite a bit to the right, like the back end steps out to the right at least a foot or so even on a flat road. How odd... Anyone else get this?

This was my car after the first snowfall last Winter - I had to be towed home after 5 1/2 hours for a 15 minute drive...

I immediately went up to the computer and ordered four snows and wheels.

I didn't have much of a problem this morning with my pirelli snows on the rears and F1 a/s on the front. Didn't really ever get squirrely. Not bad, the only thing I think that would be bad is the sheer accumulation being more then the ground clearance. Then I'm in trouble.

We've had a very little bit of snow, mostly freezing rain so far. My new A/S's seem to be up for the task. So far, so good.

Yeah, mine does the same thing. TC on or off doesn't matter. The inch of frozen slush turned the Scooter into a pig on skates. Staying with the PS2s. Any worse then this morning and the bus can get me where I need to go.

Saw a little ricer 4x4 SUV stomp on his breaks and execute a perfect 630 degree turn. He then plowed over the center island where it hung up and sat. Someone needs to tell these guys that four wheel drive helps you go but doesn't do squat to get you stopped.

I saw a Merc C63 plow into a snow drift also, if you can afford that why not get a winter car? Honestly, lol.

I wish I could get rid of that pulling to the right, cuz its enough that it almost gets me into the other lane or onto the curb.

Too true, although this morning when I left for work it was about 30 degrees out and my Crossfire was covered in frost.
Thank god for the window defrosters and the heated seats are a nice feature in the cold weather too!

Yea, unfortunatly for me the condo that I live at doesn't have any garages and if that wasn't bad enough, they won't even let me setup a temoprary car port or anything similar that would protect my car from the elements.

I guess that all I can do is keep the car clean, and keep it maintained...

Sorry for the off-topic post...
