At first I wasn't going to share this with you , but 2 weeks ago, I realized something. I have been scammed into buying my car. Well, as mentioned earlier, my mother bought it for me, she got it off some kid with low milage.

Long story short, I noticed that i didnt see anyone with a car that looks like mine on the website...... I Failed epicly (cry face)

It was a rebadged 08 sebring, crossfire badging .......


I know I know, this is fucked up, He told her it was a special edition custom 06 crossfire. I wish i still had the craigslist printout. I know the reg said sebring but ...i dont even know I brought it to a dealer in gravis in medford and I explained the situation and they gave me the real badges for free. I am Sueing the little ricer SOn of a ***** as we paid way way way to much for it. I already have a police report and I am doing everything i can to compensate for the false advertising and Bullshit i went through


and now the embaressment

I'm sorry I am so Ignorant of cars and Didnt keep up to date with models and other things. None of my few friends know **** about cars and they still laugh at me because of this even though they didn't catch on in the first placeeee

Wow! That has got to be a first here. Rebadging a Sebring to a Crossfire. I'm afraid you may be SOL on the lawsuit unless you can prove in print that he misrepresented it. It would be more of a "he said, she said". And it's the buyer’s responsibility to be knowledgeable about what car he/she is buying. Good luck though and let us know how it goes.

I can't help to ask but did you see the car before you bought it and if so, how did you know you wanted a Crossfire to begin with? Wasn't it based on partially the looks of the car? So........ This is hard to figure out as there is not a car on the road that looks much like a Crossfire.

 

They do have similar grills and hoods. Maybe the sebring has a better cup holder.

 

C'mon dude how nieve can you be? I hope you at least learn from this and never ever be so "out of the loop".

 

It does, we have an 07 sebring and there are 2 cup holders and one of them you can make it hot or cold for your drinks.
