Leon,
When I welcomed you in post 5 here I hadn't noticed you are in Yorkville.
I'm in Aurora and my wife and I eat out at local restaurants regularly.
Somehow we have never been to your place in St.Charles but will be stopping in for a meal sometime soon.
Here are some pics from some of our past local meets...
I'll see ya at the restaurant and tell ya about some of the other events going on.
Gary

"Set above the Fox River near downtown St. Charles, the former Erik & Me has transformed into Sage Bistro. For lunch, expect flavorful salads dotted with roasted pear, candied walnuts, chili-rubbed corn and other flavorful ingredients. Sandwiches range from the classic croque monsieur to lobster salad, and the signature Sage Burger arrives topped with bacon, sauteed mushrooms, swiss, mozzarella and herbed cream cheese. For dinner, we're intrigued by the classed-up versions of American classics, such as chicken-fried steak with wild mushroom demi-glace and bacon-wrapped meat loaf with ancho-spiked ketchup."

Allen and I would like to send out a big welcome and congrats on you crossfire. This is our 2nd one,We traded our 05 aero blue 6 speed in for the 08 red pearl coupe and just love it.I hated to get rid of my 6 speed.Took me (Joanna) a really hot mustang at 140
with it and left him looking at my wing.Had to get rid of 6 speed for a automatic due to a total knee replacement.Sure do miss it.But still love all the looks and the "what the heck is that" question.sure hope you can make it to the Tail of the Dragon,we had an awesome time and met the nicest people there and here on the forum.I can not think of any other car I would own, If you have any questions about your crossfire they are always ready to help.
Ok enough and WELCOME GLAD TO HAVE YOU!

Be warned, you just introduced yourself to a great bunch of characters.

And yes we are planning on buying another one.
I want to get a coupe and modify it.

Here is the Sage Bistro website.
I am really impressed by the level of excitement you guys are extending. I used to frequent a forum for Buell motorcycles (my other toy) and they are all very gaurded and not nearly as welcoming as you guys. I can't wait for this winter to be over so I can put some miles on my new car.
Let me know what date works for all of you we can have an event at the restaurant. We should wait for a nice day in late spring when the deck is open. Thank you for all the nice compliments.

Wouldn't ya know it, a few of us North East Ohio/Western Pa Crossfire owners enjoy getting together every once in awhile for a dinner cruise. Now we have a Crossfire owner who owns a restaurant we can all go visit, but he lives around 450 miles away.
I suppose if we leave after breakfast, we should make it in plenty of time for dinner.
Save a table for us L&L's SRT6, we may surprise ya one day.
And welcome to the forum.

Between me and FP we will make this happen.
There are many very good folks in this area and we all like to eat.
Sometime in April after I return from the Dragon meet in NC we will start trying to get this thing together.
SteveS - If we get enough of us we can fill my lower half of the deck and then it is considered a private party (25-35), then we can smoke cigars. But if you come and it's just a few people, and you are seated amongst other people not in your party then we can't allow smoking.
It's a touchy subject, because I am pretty strict on the the no smoking policy when it comes to cigarettes, but I do enjoy a cigar now and then. So I guess I am conflicted when it comes to that.
Just let me know when you want to make this happen, we can get it done. I am pretty stoked about this because last summer we had a bunch of vette guys during that annual vette show, then we had a Lamborghini club show up one time, those guys are a bunch of tools. They thought they knew a little about food and wine it was pretty funny to politely let them know that a inferior blue collar guy without a college degree knew more about food and wine then all of them put together, and he was also the owner. lol.

I know you own another vehicle!
I say 1st weekend in Feb.!
How about the 7th!!
If the roads are dry I may even show up with the top down!
Of course only if the wife doesn't come!

Whenever you guys want to come we will be here (except Sunday). But we should still try to organize a big get together with lots of people. I want to fill the parking lot with crossfires.

I have added you to my list of Illinois members in another thread I maintain.
Leon, welcome to the forum, I know you will enjoy both the car and this forum.
Boy all you guys in the Chicago area almost make me feel that I want to get back there (I was at 109th and 59 - Naperville)
But all I have to do is remember that the golf season starts here in March and the roads thru the Blue Ridge and Shenandoah Mtns are a blast - and nope I stay here in Va. But do envy the Crossfire Chicago group! nothing like it here.
