SILVERFOX is on a 107 day World Cruise
As many of you know Silverfox (Bill) left the forum here last June for personal reasons.
He apparently (from reading the posts in the link provided below) has saved for this cruise of a lifetime for many years and he has just departed for a 107 day world cruise which ends in Rome Italy.
He has created a screen name for himself "Wita Mut" and will like this forum post daily from his location during his travels aboard the "Royal Princess"
This link here is the forum where he will post and if you register you can post just like this forum and keep in touch with him again as you did here.
This link here is the map of his 107 days of travel by sea
This link here shows the cruise details such a ports along the way
He sent me an email from his home before he left for this voyage.
He is on what will most likely be the vacation of a lifetime.
I just wanted to share this with all of you as I know that some here will want to be back in contact with Bill.

I wish them well and hope they have the time of their lives.
But I must say that 107 days is 106 days longer than I'd ever want to spend on a cruise ship.
Hope they don't go near Somalia

Just a note to say that Bill has gone alone on this cruise.
He mentioned that his wife Irene stayed back at home in NC.
They had done a 57 day trans Atlantic cruise together in 2007 and that was enough time on a ship for her.
She wished him well to fulfill his dream of this 30,000 mile World Cruise and will be following along with his travels by internet.

I think James is tongue in cheek about Bill. We were 3 cars back when he punched the mountain, and up to that moment we were having a blast. He was a bit stunned afterwards, but through it all still a class act. He was actually trying to apologize for disrupting our ride. I hope Bill has the time of his life.
Some of Bill's first pics from his voyage
He has a friend posting them for him.

Hi....how are you doing Bill's friend!
LMFAO!!!! I just noticed this!
Apparently Bill is a wiser man than I had previously thought!
Married for how many years and he managed to fanagle a 107 day cruise without the missus.
Hmmmmmmm! LOL!

I offered to join Bill on his cruise when I saw him at last Falls Dragon Run. But he didn't offer to spring for my ticket. But when my Wife suggested that she would be glad to tag along, he seemed much more receptive to the idea.
I hope he's having the time of his life. Smooth sailing Marine.

I don't know who is but they are registered with the same cruise forum Bill is on.
I must admit it is interesting to follow along when someone you know is on a cruise such as this traveling over 30,000 miles.
