Default The Rewards for the Virtuous

Well, I was spouting off last night about missing the snowfalls of my beautiful homeland of Wisconsin, and this morning I wake to find 3 inches of white stuff on the ground! This, after a day in the 70's with 3 tornados.
Of course, The MaxMobile is safely tucked away in her cocoon. It is, after all, a form of precipitation. Can't have that!

Pics to follow...

Ah Max,

I guess you just got to be careful what you ask for!

Somehow the land of two seasons (Winter and July) doesn't seem quite so far away! Anyway I'd trade places, I have had enough of winter for a lifetime. I can't wait for Spring but I sure am glad you and the family made it through yesterday unscathed...

At least you won't have to shovel the $#!| as it will probably be gone quickly. I have spent over $300 in my Mad Mod money in the last two months just keeping the driveway plowed. Be safe my friend...

Respectfully,

Paul (MisterTaz)

FP,

I live in the trees of South Eastern Wisconsin (see the CICCI map I'm there) . For some strange reason I get more snow here then any other area around me? Folks at work just a bit south of me will get an inch or two and I get dumped on.

I tell people that I lost a bet that's why I'm here (Cheese Heads!) . I reality I took a new job and got out of the automotive industry after twenty five years. The area is beautiful it just seems like I am in a snow belt or something? Part of the things you don't find out about an area when you are looking to relocate. Well at least I didn't...

Respectfully,

Paul (MisterTaz)

How far from Chicago are you? If you're not too far, maybe you can join us at our next meet.

FP,

I would love to hook up with you guys. It is about a hundred miles to Chi Town, really a nice cruse with the top down. I was real disappointed that I could not make the Sage Bistro last month. I had planned on going down but the boss told me on Thursday to be on a plane Saturday morning to Portland.

I really wanted to meet. It really looked like you guys had a lot of fun. I was really bummed I missed the Riot "show" Hopefully next time, if the $@&$ snow ever goes away!

Respectfully,

Paul (MisterTaz)

Kusts,

I knew it wouldn't be long before you checked in here . You know I have heard that from everyone at work also. I am beginning to think it is something that you "cradle to gravers" tell all of us "newbies"!

I got to give you credit, you drive yours through this stuff. I just can't bring myself to. But it was nice to be able to go for a short ride a couple of weeks ago. I think the Crossfire saw it's shadow so it may be a few more weeks before it will come out again.

Stay warm...

Paul, if you've been here more than 3 years you're then officially considered a native .
I'm sorry.....

As for the cars; no way Jose': neither Xfire leaves the driveway when it's snowing (welllll, a couple of inches is no big deal). That's why I own a '99 Cougar with just over 200K on the ole odometer. It goes through darn near anything, has a cavernous hatch area & I really don't care, too much, if it gets beat. If it decides to roll over dead sometime in the near future then I'll see what I can find in the way of a POS truck or another Cougar.

It's not driving through the snow that bugs me, it's the other A-hole drivers.
I've already had a couple close calls this winter with idiots sliding towards me, certainly enough to get the adrenaline a'pumping. If they'd hit the Xfire I'd have to kill them.........it wouldn't be pretty !

A WINTER STORM WARNING MEANS SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF SNOW...

POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE TRAVEL VERY HAZARDOUS OR IMPOSSIBLE.

For 22 years I commuted 25 miles at 5:30 AM and didn't make it to work for reasons of weather twice. Read that last sentence.

Sissies. There is 0 accumulation on the roads. I figure one might have a problem if they drove on the lawns.

A possibility down here!

Hi Max,

I don't miss too many days due to the weather either. I just pick the right one for the season, low and fast April through November. Big and Tall in the winter...

The Winter "Beater"...

Stay safe...

Tornados followed by snow?

Sounds like somebody has been playing mad scientist again, MAX.

Now we know what that funny antenna is for - weather control.
In the interest of public safety, please get it adjusted.

Oh, and please make sure the early April weather at Fontana Village is set for sunny and cool. Thanks in advance.

JC,

duly noted and set for 70/Sun.

BUT, it was made in China and sometimes breaks down!

Gotta admit though, it does look purty. I'd be willing to bet that the majority of it is melted by today.
Hey Max, what's with the title of this thread? Are we to honestly believe that you're virtuous ??!!

"I have the strength of ten, for in my heart I am pure".

And you can take that to the bank!

Max- what you had the weather control antenna? Last year it was lousy weather! Good God man why didn't you dial up some thing other than a monsoon? Shoot I'll give you a mug if you make sure it will be sunny and warm this spring Dragon

Well he did say it was Chinese.

Here I try to give a guy mad scientist cred, and he just bought it at Wal-Mart.
