Default Hello Everyone!

Hello Crossfire community!

My name is Josh Rickards and I'm the owner of House of Power Racing Inc. Today I had a few phone calls inquiring about some of the performance enhancement products that we make for the "other" car the C32 AMG. I just wanted to come on here and introduce myself and what my company does.
Mainly we do alot of ECU tuning via through our Dynojet 224xLC Dynamomter, and we also do alot of custom forced inductions systems. Everything from custom motor swaps to remote turbo systems to custom one off supercharger systems. I have alot of knowledge not about the "Crossfire" persae but the C32 platform as well as the other MBZ models.
I'll try and help as much as I can about your vehilcle and try and answer some of those questions that you just can't get answered. Thankyou for your time

Welcome to our world Josh!
Thanks for posting and offering your help/support to us.
Don't be discouraged if some of the folks here hit you back with comments about proving yourself to us and such. They are just looking out for the rest of the family here.

A bit more info on what you can offer would be a nice start. Web page?

Later!
DJ

Welcome Josh!

It was good speaking to you today and welcome to the site. After talking to you today, I am convined it wouldn't take you more than five minutes looking around a Crossfire to discover you already know what you need to know to help us get more out of these cars. I am very impressed wtih what you have already accomplished.

It would be great if someone could go by there. He is very familiar with our engines and Mercedes chassis's but has not been under the hood of a Crossfire. I believe when he gets a chance to look under our cars and hoods, he will find a lot of familiarity. He is interested to find out if we have room for a forced induction system. I hope you will set a time to visit him and let him take a look at your car.

Welcome to the fourm Josh.....glad to have ya here.

What do you use to tune the ECU's? Star system from MB?

As a sidenote...I always find it funny when a SRT owner posts about kicking some other car's a$$ when they least expected it. I wonder what would happen when a SRT comes across the first Limited or base that's converted to forced induction. Could be an interesting post in the future!

Thanks for the responses! I sent Greg back a pm and this invitation goes out to anyone else that lives near, we're having a car show / open house this weekend 3/14/09 from 9am to 3pm. It's not to huge but alot of the cars there will all be heavily modded. We just moved so I'm trying to get our new location out so people know where we are.
One of you asked about the software tuning for your cars. I personally don't do the software tuning for the bosch DME's, and every company that I have used for the Mercedes Benz's have yet to yield horsepower increases that they claim to get. What I do use is stand alone / piggyback systems that I can tune with. The problem with tuning those DME's that you have is that they use a different file structure than what the US manufacturers use of course Damos vs Bin. I've looked in getting the software before it's extremely hard to get and very expensive, but it's not impossible.

Guys, Plans are to go to the shop Saturday morning for a looksie. Josh is having a car show that day. Maybe some other locals can make it, (Mike-in-Orange, Mr. Max). I'll be the least "dressed" with all the MBZ running around there!
