Read through a few threads and have to say i am utterly apalled by the nastiness and cynicism displayed by the forum members here. Before my xfire i owned a 93 supra and must say the forums for that car has a much nicer, more helpfull community. Granted i understand some of the responses to stupid threads but being on the internet does not give people the right to act like 16 year olds driving daddies car. Hopefully i can find a more mature respectfull xfire community to join.. I would hate to think i would be lumped with the likes of the members here for driving my beloved xfire.

As for myself... this community is awesome and best of all, got to get to know some people in real life and every single one is not only helpful but proud to be a member here.

My advice to you, just be quiet and move back to your beloved "other" forum.

I agree with Eric. This is a great forum. lots of help around the cars. Yes, it gets somewhat testy at times, especially when a few are debating politics, but really, you have somevery strong people here, (otherwise they wouldn't be driving this type of car) but that's not a bad thing all in all. keeps you alive! The threads are pretty big, it being an active forum, so some of the answers about doing a search rather than have the same thing posted everytime a neewbie comes along can get tedious, but understandable. personally, I would not be asking questions until i did do a search, but that's just me. Basic questions that can be found in the book, or easily in a search should expect smart-alecky comments. The vast majority here are not stupid people. Hang in if you'd like and you might see something different rather than what you think you see at first glance

 

I'm sorry for your personal opinion of what this community may or may not be. Each person is entitled to their own opinion and I respect yours, no matter how skewed and offbase your view may be.

I am not going to dignify that with a long response because you obviously have a very thin skin or are just trying to cause trouble, neither of which we enjoy.

This is a great group of people, hell I have only been on this forum for a few months and have already spent a long weekend and countless hours with other memebers and could not be happier.

As far as the level of information and people willing to lend a hand or an idea - top notch.

Please take your first post bitching elsewhere, we are much better off without you.

and you WILL NOT find another XF forum out there that is even close, trust me.

 

Like most forums, there are some posts here that we are not proud of having. It takes all kinds, but for the most part, members here are very friendly, cooperative, and very helpfully. I personally have made many friends here. Many of them I 've had the privilege to meet in person.

I look at it this way...... if I want to talk about politics I'll go on one of those sites, if I want to talk about my car I come here. I don't care about your politics because it has absolutely nothing to do with my love of my car.

Sounds like you are just the sort that you complain about.

People on this forum have been great. Granted there are a few exceptions, but you'll find that anywhere. You will NOT find an XF forum that comes close to this.

Next time you should try to stay around a forum for more than one post before condemning it. It hardly lends much credence to your opinion.

Best of luck to you, though. With your snap judgement and petulant attitude you are going to need it.

(BTW - you aren't the same bozo that made one hate post about the XF and then never came back are you?)

 

Maybe you should read a liitle more before you pass judgment on our forum. Or maybe your just another tool that doesn't own a Crossfire.

 

No offense to anyone that owns a Crossfire but why in the heck did you go from a 1993 Surpa, probably one of the best/sexiest cars ever made IMO, to a Xfire especially a Limited. I'm trying to go from an SRT to a MkIV Supra but dont have the means to do so.
