Isn't it amazing how one newb with one dumbass post can quickly create a very active thread?

 

I love our forum. It has actually helped me enjoy my car even more - I get to share my obsession! I have been in cave diving forums that are so flat out rude people take swings at each other when they see each other in person. People here don't always agree, but isn't that the great thing about this country - we don't have to. I have been very lucky to meet many of the forum members in person and I often tell other people that the only requirement to own a crossfire is that you have to be AWESOME!! We are all very different, but our common factor is that we all saw beauty is a car that wasn't the norm & got addicted to it. I think that is VERY, VERY cool!!!

 

Same thing happens when somebody genuine posts a real problem.

I've seldom, if ever, met a better bunch.

I was just piggy backing on what mdaniels4 wrote about political rants. I'm guilty of some wisecracks on the car side. So I hope I can claim some credit for chasing him off!

 

Wait till he needs help, he will change his mind fast.
He can say what he wants & if he can use the search never ask,
but when he cant find somthing he will find how nice EVERYONE

yeah, Franc, and spotsbimmer, I was the one that brought up the politics part of the forum. I love that part. I like to be engaged with different way of thinking, really, only a few times even there would I want to wrassle with a brother- If you don't want to be engaged in that part of the forum, then don't read it. Even though we won't agree, the thing we all have in common is the love for the Cross, so I agree with someone else here who said we're all like family and are allowed to do that. On the car side of the forum, most everybody has been really helpful when another has a problem with the cars. I think it's cool.

 

I may be new to this forum, however I have owned many cars and been on many forums. This forum is by far the most helpful and classy forum I have had the pleasure of joyning. Thanks to all who help making this forum a great forum for all us newbees who loves this wonderful autiomobile.

I think that one of the reasons people take offense to a reply is because they read into it something that was not meant as some posts can be a bit ambiguous in that regard. I once posted that a previous poster had been very nice to a person who had posted a question that begged for a smart a$$e answer, I got a lot of flack from people who thought I was being the nasty to the person I was complementing.

We have to admit that a joke to some is an insult to another, especially when we have different cultures involved. So far I have been lucky, someone only threatened to shoot me.

Franc - post #6, that is why my response. I don't care what you are as long as you own a crossfire you are ok in my book. Like I said I don't care about anyones politics.

 

You join today, Post today, Leave today. You didn't even give it a chance. So you read a thread or two that had some posts you did not like. Fine. But with Threads=28,628, Posts=357,392, Members=18,051. Odds are there is going to be something or someone you don't like on or about the forum.

 

That would be my thread. I assumed the original poster was referring to a recent thread that turned a bit political and an obscene comment was thrown.

Either way, it doesn't matter. This guy is a loser and he is trying to get a rise out of everyone. That must be the only thing he is good at in life. This is probably the guy that started the post "anyone here not miss the crossfire". I think it is the same guy that claims he could beat everyone with his minivan or something. He probably created a new profile just to aggitate us more.
