Does anyone here do this for a hobby? living, even?
Just something I like to do in the very little free time I have.
Mostly taking macro shots of my saltwater aquariums.
I took this one today, kind of proud of it.

Located in Williamsport, IN. known as 'The Potholes'. Actual name of the preserve - "Fall Creek Gorge"

Wish I was good in photoshop so I could get that date off of there. lol

Very nice picture................I too like to dabble in (very)amateur photography. None of my pictures are edited in any way because anybody(that knows editing software) can MAKE a picture look good.

All of those were taken with my Sony Cybershot DSC-N2 10.1 megapixel...........nothing fancy. I just picked up a 12.1 megapixel Sony T90 to replace the old N2..........but have had no great photo ops yet.

Another one getting hooked on photography here.

Started out with a Pentax MX film SLR thirty years ago when in the navy. But the inconvenience and cost of film dampened my interest. Didn't help that one time I missed getting pictures of Russian bombers buzzing the ship because the film popped off the take up spool.

The drop in cost and growing capabilities of digital cameras piqued my interest and I got a Sony Mavica a few years ago. Nice camera but I rapidly ran into it's limitations. Solved that little problem by getting a DSLR last year. This camera, a Pentax k200D, is on a whole new level compared to the Sony. I've barely scratched the camera's capabilities but I sure do enjoy using it. Now if only I could take pictures like the ones here.......

I've got a Nikon point and shoot that stays in my car at all times...just in case something awesome/awful happens.

I also have a Canon rebel XSi. I have a bunch of unedited photos, but need to touch them up a bit...

I do it purely for fun, and it's more relaxing than work in itself.

I am the photographer for the University of Cincinnati Dance Team. My daughter was on the team for three years. They won three national championships, 2004-5-6. This year they won their fourth nationals and were selected to represent the United states in the first World Cheer and Dance Competition in Orlando. There were 42 teams and China had 100 people on their team. My wife and I go with the team. I use a Cannon D40 SLR. I can post pics if you would like.

Forgot all about this. I'd like to see your pictures since I can always learn something from others who know what they are doing.
