For those of you who live in Florida and/or are familiar with the Miami area - please help. We will be going to Florida and I remember a hotel that was in a shopping mall by the Port of Miami, but I can't remember the name of it. :?: If you know, could you please let me know. :idea:

 

I believe it is the Biscayne Bay Marriot

 

Thanks - they must have changed the name since I was there 15 years ago (maybe longer). I just remembered it being in a large mall - seems it was on the top floors. I will check this out. Thanks for your help. :lol:

 

Are you bringing the Crossfire across country

 

:cry: No - not bringing the Crossfire :cry: It would be fun to do sometime though. Actually, we are flying in to take a cruise - but will be staying in Miami for 2 days before the cruise. :lol: Also - Thanks for the Hotel info - but after looking on the internet, I don't think that is the one on top of the shopping mall.

 

Thought I would bring this up again as there are now so many more members here who might be able to help me. The Marriot that willie mentioned was not the right hotel. Anybody have any idea what I'm talking about :?:

 

there are a lot of hotels in that neighborhood go to expedia and look for Miami and then downtown, The one I mentioned before the Marriot Biscayne Bay is just north of the American Airlines Arena and Bayside about 1.5 miles from the port

 

as mentioned above, there are a lot of good options in Miami these days. we stayed in South Beach at the Park Central. The room was mediocre, but the location and food were both great. we had a model shoot outside our front door every day.
