Hey Kim,

Okay, I'll bite. My friends call me pdub and I currently live in Oakland now but have also lived in Reno, and Antwerp. My career is in IT (there seems to be a lot of binary heads here!). I also like to buy and fix up homes. I'll razz the peeps here from time to time to lighten things up, cause you can't take life too seriously, seriously. Great to see some new faces here from time to time
. Thanks for sharing your mods with the forum.

OK....need to bring this thread back for all the new members who joined recently.
So all you newbies post up another introduction here for Kim and the rest of us here..........

Hello Kim,
Where have ya been...not online here since February 7th
Many here already know me and many have met me as well.
I'm Gary and I'm into planning Crossfire meets and attending them all around the country.
I live in Aurora, Ill (40 miles west of Chicago)
I have had my Crossfire since April 2007 and have clocked 36000 miles.
Ya might say I am obsessed with this forum seeing that there have been 20118 members here to date and I have managed to reach second place in post counts only to be surpassed by my buddy FP who lives close by and hooks up with me often.
Anyway welcome to the forum and thanks for starting this interesting thread.

Hello Kim, George here. I'm sure you hear this all the time but dayum! Such a cutie! Correct me if I am wrong but do I detect a little NCIS lab girl in you? Have no idea why I got that impression, but suffice to say your stuck with it now.

I was born and raised in NYC, one of 9 children. Met mrs in Rapid City SD way back in 1973. She was going to college there, she is from Napoleon ND (farmgirl) one of 14. Am married, 24 with 31 years experience (meaning 55 calendar years). A pensioned Vietnam era Desert Shield/Storm Disabled Veteran. Own my own home, land, and three vehicles with one being my fav (2008 XF Limited). Enlisted in 1972, retired 1995, went to college then joined the civilian workforce. In 1999 had our 24 yr old daughter come home with brain damage, and we cared for her 24/7 (I was night shift, mrs day shift) until last July 13th she left this world. She's in a much better place now and I can wait to meet her when its my time. Our 19 yr old son is trying the civ workforce route and we'll see how he makes it. He doesn't want to go military.

Have settled here in central South Carolina just west of Shaw Air Force Base (home is truely where you hang your hat).

Guess thats about enough for now, welcome to the forum and to the unique group of Crossfire owners. Glad your a gearhead of sorts, you keep on expanding your knowledge base and experience levels. Reach for the stars, and be at home in the heavens!

I think you have too much free time on your hands, I think you should get another part time job.

I am "Pacemaker", not because I am fast, but because of an on-board AICD. Have owned a 2005 black and silver XF Ltd. 6 speed. Had to trade it in for a 300 Ltd. after wife broker hip in a traffic accident and couldn't get in/out of the orig. XF. She recently bought me my second XF, metallic graphite with auto stick for our 40th wedding anniversary. (YES!) We are retired at 60 and enjoying travel and visiting the four grand kids in TX. and OK. Stumbled upon the XF forum and have loved it. Hope to meet some of you in the E. TN. area someday.

Hey Kim. My name is Chris Murphy. I live in Kentucky. We are known for having fast horses and beautiful women.... or is it beautiful horses and fast women... Either way, central Kentucky is awesome if you don't have allergies(Paradise City was actually written about Louisville Ky BTW). Anyway, I am obviously a car nut. I have had a few old muscle cars that would keep up with or best the xfire in a straight line, but nothing with air/cruise and that didn't leave me with a big load in my pants at 150+ or going around a corner. LOL I am truly enjoying my srt-6 and look forward to taking it to the track. I especially love the look on peoples faces when they pull up next to the crossfire wanting to run. Most of the speed freaks around here are used to picking on crossfires and do not know how much faster the different wing makes the car. I breed English Mastiffs as a hobby and it has me traveling all over the country. I am through Georgia a lot. The next time I am heading through, I'll drop you a PM.
