Global Warming headed to the south
Wow, I am about 100 miles south of Atlanta, and we are supposed to get around 3" of snow tomorrow. Snow could hit all the way into florida. Mr. Gore's global warming must have headed further south this year.

We call 3" of snow a heavy frost, no big deal.
I know what you mean. I used to live in upstate NY in Plattsburg. It is up next to the Canadian and Vermont borders. I also lived in Colorado and Germany so I am not a strander to heavy snow. I think it is funny here in middle georgia. They can predict snow flurries, and the local news will show all the stores being bought out of bread, milk, and other staples. People make a mad dash to stock up. LOL
We got +/- 5" of snow last night here in Longview, TX.
It sure was fun trying to get to work this morning. My traction control was sending Morse Code to me the whole way. It's no fun having to stop at a light, on a slope, in the snow/slush, with a manual tranny.

Yeah, that's what i did. Thankfully I don't have very far to go to get to work. I just hate it because I'm from Houston and there arent any real hills or, for that matter, slopes. I guess I'm just not used to snow.

Remeber, 4 wheeldrive helps people go faster in snow but all vehicles have the same 4 wheel brakes. Or in thecase of snow, lack of 4 wheel brakes.
Using the rear wheels to slow down gives you more control than a 4 wheeler would have. But only if you pay attention and use it right.
The very same forces allow you to drive more aggressively than an automatic on the Dragon.
I love manuals.
