I'm sure some idiot got into the fog and thought it was a good idea to slow way way down. Some people shouldn't be allowed to drive.

Massive pile-up in dense fog

Yeah, that one dude said he stopped and saw a silver car come up behind him, but it didn't hit him. Then another car plowed into the silver car, which was then thrown into his car anyway and spun him around. He could then see everyone just pile into each other from his "first person" view. Perhaps "first person" view was never more appropriate as it sounds like this is the guy who started the whole thing by just stopping on the freeway!

 

Unbelieveable. The stupidest thing I've ever seen was about 20 years ago, left work at about 9:30 p and heavy storms were coming thru. Got on a long bridge, crossing the river when it hits, lightning hitting the ground all around, rain so hard literally cannot see a thing. People slowing down which was wise and in the center lane there sits a toyota or something small, just his taillights on, no flashers, scared to death to keep going forward so he stops. I only saw him because the lightning hit about 300 yeards away and lit the bridge like it was in a stadium. This moron just plain old stops. Fortunately everybody going maybe 30 mph max, but you just know some a$$wipe is going to think his mudder can handle all this, and either rolls over the Toyota, or switch lanes really fast, rolls his own and takes out a minivan of cubscouts along the way.

 

That's crazy... gave me chills thinking of what if my car was involved...

Then I remembered I'm smarter and don't drive in that crap...too many idiots around, as is apaprent by that video.
