My Two Thelma & Louise, saved from the shelter!!!

Most embarrassing thing.... while the entire family was here and sitting in the living room Thelma comes running across the living room with a pair of my underwear, seems she was in the CLEAN clothes that I had just sat in the bedroom got tangled up in them and decided to run for it, across the living room, it was really funny but embarrassing too..... That is Thelma with her paw up...

 

Two boxers! The one on the right is the newest addition to our family. He's a rescue we adopted three months ago.

here is our little guy ROO. Liberated from the local shelter a year ago. He is a chocolate point Snow Shoe. Amazing how they change colors till they are about 2. ROO picked his name. My wife and I could not agree, I wanted Bandit and she wanted Bobby. So we asked the cat "what would you like to be called?" he replied quite clearly "ROO". He repeats it constantly especially when I am on a conference call in my office!

This is Fizzgig, a 10 year old Lhasa Apso that we got from a breeder when he was just a 4lb pup. The craziest thing he's ever done? Well, he was supposed to be a Valentine's Day present for my wife, but he bonded to me like glue so he sort of became "my" dog. Oh, and he thinks he's a big dog - you should see him at the pet store where has put Labs, Weimaraners and even a Doberman in their place. I keep telling one day that's going to get him trouble, but he just smiles at me.



And since he became "my" dog, we got a beautiful little female Shih-Tzu for my wife. Kira is a rescue dog - she was a breeder at a puppy mill for the first three years of her life. She's exactly what my wife wanted in a dog, and the best behaved, most patient pooch I've ever known. I don't have a picture of her here at work so I'll have to post one later.

 

I have almost three cats, cause they are Siamese and they know it.

those are beautiful horses....and Dud is a big one..

 

Good question! A hand is 4 inches so 16.2h is 16 hands + 2 inches.

 

He is a very big guy - with a saddle on your butt starts out 6 feet in the air. When I was showing him he weighed in at over 1600 lbs. Not a whole lot you can do when all that decides it doesn't want you on his back anymore & its a loooooonnnnggggg way down!!! lol

 

I've got two rescued mutts. The male one is a Husky mix of some sort and the female we don't know. They really don't do anything crazy, but the one will bark at us to give her some ice.

 

I have a blue point Snowshoe cat named Gracie. She loves to box my plants like a speedbag!!

 

Lulu Mae....5 Month old 35 lbs. Old English Bulldog....

She loves to chase the school bus...almost foaming at the mouth.....
