Calendar Sneak Peak!

Here's the Member Choice Winners in order as they will appear in the calendar. The first image is the cover, followed by January thru September.

I know I said that the Member's Choice Calendar would be available in 8 1/2" by 11" at $14.99, but I goofed when I had the images processed and processed them for 11" by 17" instead. So the Member's Choice Calendar will be the larger format and will be $18.99.

There will also be a Tom's Choice Calendar in the same size for the same price. It is comprised of my favorite images. There are no repeats from the Member's Choice Calendar. So feel free to buy one for home and one for work. One caveat with the Tom's Choice Calendar: there are several duplicate cars in it - by that I mean that the same person's car appears multiple times in the calendar. I didn't do that in the member's choice because those were the rules! But in Tom's Choice - I make the rules, and I just put in my favorite images that weren't in the member's choice calendar.

I hope you guys enjoy the calendars. They will be available for purchase tomorrow: Friday Nov. 12. I will post a link as soon as I finish the work in the online store.

Note:
I did rearrange the pics/months a little bit on the Tom's Choice calendar. I moved the nice young lady's photo to June, because my birthday is in June, and I like nice young ladies (and black Crossfires)!

If you've submitted photos to me, and you would like your photo on a frig magnet ($3.50) or some other CafePress sold item, I can throw it up there in the store for you. PM me with any special requests, and give me a day or two to make the item for you.

 

Just to let everyone know: there's one person who put many hours of hard work into these calendars, and it's not me. My good friend Mike - who doesn't even own a Crossfire - was generous enough to donate his time and effort for our enjoyment. Mike is a graphics artist and a pre-press photoshop expert with years of experience in the industry creating magic with his mouse. You can see an example of his artistry in the January Member's Choice photo. In the original photo, Alzilla's bumper was covered in bug splatters. Mike created a new bumper from scratch, and you can't even tell. Yeah, he's that good.

During the middle of all of this work, Mike's wife was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I was quite shocked when Mike insisted that he finish the calendars. What a trooper!

So, we all owe our thanks to Mike, and I'm sure we all wish him and his wife the best. I will pass along any messages you leave for him here.
