Hey Automobile, Where's STODDARD??
Automobile Magazine's December 2010 issue has an article written by Anthony Hare titled, "The 25 Most Influential Car Designers Working Today".
Now I will admit, many of the cars (some of these guys are responsible for) are quite nice, like:
The Audi R8, and A5, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, Ferrari 458 Italia, Aston DB7, Lambo Murcielago, & Gallardo.
But others, like the Nissan Cube, Fiat 500, Mazda RX8, and the Toyota Prius...not so much.
Just wondering why our very own "Home Town Boy" Mr.Stoddard was overlooked?
I mean if the Crossfire, and the Genesis isn't enough to get their "Creator" included in this select group, then I don't know what is.

A s a Crossfire owner and part owner of a Genesis I agree. Both cars are exceptional in the style department, mines faster than Sean's though!
I thought Stoddard should be there, too. However, Jalopnik recently ran a piece on Rudy's 001 V8 swap car and most of the comments following were negative towards crossfires. People hate the look, think the mechanicals are leftovers, and even dumped on the yellow color of the car.
Outsiders (even car guys) just dont get it, and I'm happy to stay under the radar. Recognition matters only if you care what others think.
We know he belongs on that list.

Like I saw another member here post recently...you either get it or you don't, and that's fine by me.
