My pax side wiper arm went loose only driver's side works. How can I reach the mechanism to check what is going on.

 

If the black cap is still there, remove the cap and check to see if the nut is loose, and remove the arm to check the splines they could be worn out, or just the nut came loose, if all looks good, keep the arm off and turn on your wipers the post should move back and forth, if it does not, then it could be linkage which is under the plastic cowl.
