Default Tornado

There was a tornado on tuesday within 1\2 mile of my house. It was traveling at about 63mph with a rotation of 130mph+ rated at a F2. No houses were directly hit but it went right through a small woods and tore the place up. Some houses were hit by falling trees but no one was injured. That was about as close as one has ever been to my house.

Glad you are safe pal.

With all the bad luck you have had recently, really glad you're safe

I would imagine they have more flooding than anything. I was in Kentucky yesterday, and the Green and Ohio rivers are rising...haven't seen this high a long while.

News is calling it the worst in 40 years. we will see when the clouds finally clear.

200 or more homes total loss. Airport shut down "indefinitely" but it should open at 70% sometime Sunday.

Path of destruction from New Melle MO to Granite city IL and east of there. About ten miles wide on that 60 mile line.

Amazingly, no serious injuries and so far, no reported fatalities.

East Side is low and flat. They have the most concerns about flooding but right now the news reports that their police are more worried about looters.

I took a big dose of cold medicine last night and slept right through it. Luckily no damage here. All Crossfires accounted for and safely in garages.

Had a very sick tree in my father's front yard. We had dropped it Thursday so it is interesting the folks who stopped by and thought last nite did it.
