I'm the opposite, I love the size of the XDm .40 and conceal carry it every day. My buddy picked up the new version which is the same exept 3/4'' shorter barrel. I can't stand shooting little guns that leave one or more fingers dangling of the bottom of the grip.

That is why I have several of the longer mags, for the range and such. Almost an identicle grip length to the larger frame weapon....

I just thought it was because of cheap russian manufacuring, I'll give it a try thanks! It was cheap - $125 W\bayonett and the original cleaning materials. It's not beat up or anything either.

Your Uberti is a darn pretty piece ... and effective, too I bet, out to 100 yards. Can you use moon rings to fire .45 ACP? That, along with your sweet Kimber .45 would make a nice SHTF pair. Keep a .22 for meat and you're ready for Zombies.

PS: Is that .410 derringer a bugger to hang onto?

Not sure on the moon rings. I can't sat I ever heard of them till you brought it up. What are the advantages? As for the Derringer, it is a very crude hangun. It has been suggested that if an attacker gets it away from you, just run away. Cause it will take him forever to figure out how to fire the thing. And yes, It can be quite a handful if you don't have a good solid grip on it. The barrel is so short that with a 3 inch 410 shell you can see the shell in it. It was made made by Leinad, "Daniel spelled backwards", the same company that made the Mac 10. It's sad, but it's really a cheap assed thug gun. Though it looks like an antique at first glance. I like it though. I even added a layard ring to make it appear older. I will eventually make some blackened wood grips for it as well.
