Randy, Thoughts and prayers are with you. We must have a GTG in your area once you are up and going at it which I'm sure will be soon. Might not be able to meet at a Cigar Bar. Maybe a local GNC heath food store. That ought to shut up Magnisiam Gary.

no health food store for magnesium. just a half cup of epsom salt "magnesium sulfate" in a daily bath. no risk and low cost. the magnesium is absorbed through the skin as your body needs it.

I went to the Cardiologist on Thursday. Over the past 3 weeks had been having some issues, discomfort from elbow across chest to elbow. This happened 4-5 time over a week or two. My BP would spike up to 157/107. That was the highest I recorded.

I went to Vegas for 3 days and it happened twice there . Some tums and aspirin and my anti arrythmia meds and I was fine in 10 minutes. I got back to Miami on Wednesday morning and set up the Cardiologist appt for Thursday .

I went into the doctors office and he first said I needed a stress test, which I hadn't had for 3-4 years. As he was looking at my current and past EKG he said never mine about the stress test, you need a heart cath. He said I had had some iscemic chanhes and probably had very mild Heart Attack. He asked me if I wanted scheduled the cath for Friday..... I asked that would mess up my weekend golf game.......he said yes, no golf. I left the office looking at scheduling the Cath on Monday......... The wife is a nurse at the hospital and scheduled the heart Cath on Friday. ( I saw that it was going to rain sat and Sunday)

The procedure was done on Friday afternoon at 3:00 pm. I had 2 blocked arteries, 80-90 percent. I feel pretty good. A bit lathargic.

I got home Saturday at 1:30 after I stopped at the dealer to check on my baby (SRT). They are waiting for the warranty Fedelity rep to ok the maifold removal, then a new intercooler.

Glad to know things went well! At least you have your priorities in the right place...golf and the SRT.

I'm certainly glad that you have the ability to show some restraint. I was trying to tease about mixing it in the water as opposed to mixing it in the bath.

LOL. Talk about a derailed thread, One of our dear members is in the hospital, his blessed car is in the shop. One member is implying that all of this could be avoided by adding salt to a bath, and now this. Glad it sounds he is doing OK. leaves the hospital and stops to check on his car on the way home,,,,,NICE

Good thing Randy didn't have Fedelity for his health insurance ..... he would still be waiting for approval to look under his hood.

Randy - I am really glad you are ok & it sounds like you are going to be feeling much better very soon.

That is correct. They put in 2 stents.

Now my SRT needs some heart work if you can make the analogy comparison to the engine needing a new intercooler and maybe some manifold gaskets.
