2012 Crossfire Calendar ***read***
I read Tom doesn't have time for the calendar this year. I am planning on making one for myself and anyone else that is interested. As in years past, I will use CafePress and you can order direct if you decide.
If you would like your photos to be used, please email/pm a link to the photograph or email attachment to: james1549@cincinnaticomm.com.
More than just twelve photos will be used since some pages will have smaller photos around larger ones. The higher resolution, the better, and better chances I can use it in the larger format. All I ask is that the photograph has been taken this year, 2011. That way no chance of duplicate photos from years past. Limit yourself to your best 4 pictures.
I am not sure of the deadline, I guess it depends how many photos I receive. I will do my best to use as many as I get. So get them in ASAP.
Thanks, James

So James,
Have you gotten a good response from the members here ?
Have you gotten a lot of pics ?
Just wondered if a calendar will be available for 2012

Gary, yes we will have a calendar for 2012. I have some of it completed but not all. I did get some good pics, but thought I would have rec'd more. I will wait until the weekend (NOV 28) is over for the deadline. The calendars are usually delivered fairly quick in time for the new year.
Get your photos in now! James

Ok guys.... MAJOR SET BACK. But with your help I WILL make this happen.
Last weekend my PC acted up. First the HD was giving me trouble and backed-up as much it would allow. Finally it went south. I thought I had everything backed-up. I installed an older HD I had and reloaded. My system would run but very unstable, locking up, reboot, memory issues, errors on top of errors, blah blah....
Best not to put any money into a 7 year old machine. So now I have Windows7, 8GB & 1.5TB. Some of my older programs won't run on the new system, but my photo software seems to be just fine for now.
Bad news is that I didn't back up my email that contained all the photos you people submitted to me. I really feel bad about that but there is not much I can do now. The local shop wants $99 just to attempt to recover the HD. If it has to be sent out, it could cost upwards of $1000. I think I will just let it go.
Cafepress is very good with delivery time once an order is placed. I can still pull this off if I can get YOU to resubmit your photos. Please see post #1 for the information.
Again, the system failure couldn't have happened at a worse time and I am really sorry about this.
I will make this happen with your help.

Just let me know how much; when/where to send it. My car is not one of the pix, but I still love the calendar's large format; my friend's cars.
Thanks for doing this!
