Default Driving problem.

Son of a *****. I bought the car exactly 9 months ago with 22,501 miles and today I have 45,201.

I feel horribly guilty about putting that much mileage on it. How can I deal with my guilt? xD

drive it more and run things over with it (cones, small animals, children..) you won't feel so bad about using it for its intended purpose.

I killed a squirrel at the last Dragon event. Never hit a cone though and children have become fat, increasing the chances of damaging my nose.

Ditto...keep driving it and enjoy. That is the reason, you purchased it! When mine is delivered on 1/12, I will start my journey to bring it from 40 to 60k by year end

Yep. Right along with cottontail. Only problem with natural speed bumps is getting out to check your dang sidewalls.

I think cotton tail doesn't qualify as a "speed bump". That would be a "total" at speed on a XF...and hopefully not land in your lap... I don't even want to think about that. When my wife and I were arriving late in the evening at the Dragon....momma bear and her two cubs were waiting for us on one of the turns on the Hell Bender....but, we were just tooling along, and I didn't have the camera ready... So, back to the "driving" problem.... My answer is... just like a drug...you have to learn to say "NO"...lol

I've hit at least 4 on accident they are everywhere out here in the desert. Lol that's even avoiding most... A bear on the other hand, I pray I never die hitting something massive like that.

My last car I put 20k a year on, now I got kids so the cross doesn't go out that much.

Wait. What? The Crossfire's intended purpose is running over small animals and children? I would think a large SUV would be much more effective at that!

"Cotton tail" would be a bunny rabbit. "White tail" would be the dear you fear.

Just maintain it properly and you should be guilt free for many years to come. Driving it a lot while neglecting maintenance would be reason for guilt. And a severe flogging!

The body shops around here are seasonal - they DEPEND on deer season when the hunters drive the deer out of the woods and onto the roads ..........

I bet you guys have never seen the deer whistles that you stick on the front of your car/truck.
Supposed to warn the deer that you are coming, personally I think it attracts them ...

Save something long enough and you loose interest in using it. Drive. Drive. Drive. Except inclement weather.
