Default sandro needs help

Hi to all that may well read this thread.

Just bought a crossfire through a friend in the trade, needs a little cosmetic work!

ripped roof so ordering a merlot red roof to the UK as i like to be a little different(have not seen 1 here in the UK)

also need to change the alloys as they are in bad shape, so fancy a change!

Does anyone know in the Uk where i can but 19's at the front and 20's at the back, staggered. ALSO on Ebay a seller states that a ET45 will fit the crossfire? concerned that the garage tell me you should buy ET22 to ET35 and no larger?

thanks

ET45 is waaaay too shallow of an offset... when the wheels are bolted to the hub, they will nest into the fender and be very close to suspension components.

Keep the fronts as close as possible to 30-35mm offset.

Rears can be anywhere between 20-35mm... any higher number than that, and you will scrub the inner fender on large bumps.

With a 19" front, I wouldn't go wider than 8.5" wheel with 32mm offset. If you've lowered the suspension, I would even drop the width down to 8" with a 32mm offset. That will give you proper clearance of the suspension nut.

Cheers,

ET45 won't fit the Crossie. Some in the States run 19 & 20 stagger but they have good roads where they drive.

There's an excellent tyre size calculator in the wheels forum.

And SteveUK along with the crossfire uk crowd are excellent proving newbie support.

Welcome to the Forum!
