Wow, that was tragic! With that kind of impact, probably they didn't feel a thing... I was driving in Virginia in late November in 2000, black ice on the road. Cars were down in the ditch to the right and left, I hit a patch and slid from one lane to the next, scared the bejeebers out of me... We don't have that problem in south Texas.
