Help needed in Columbus, OHIO...
Hey guys,
A local Crossfire owner, and forum member, has her car broke down at the Columbus Airport.
She contacted Byers Chrysler and they believe she has major engine damage before even seeing the car.
Is there someone close by that could take a look at it for her? Or is there a shop you recommend her to have it towed to?
Any help would be appreciated! James
Here is a copy of here email to me:
<<<The car starts fine and the engine sounds fine when it is idling, but there is smoke coming from the exhaust, plus it is also loud and sluggish when you try to drive it. I just talked to Byers Chrysler in Columbus and they said it sounded like major engine damage. Can you ask your Columbus contacts if there is a different repair shop in the Columbus area they would recommend?>>>

James I used to live in Columbus and may move back. If I do there is a used MB dealer on about 3500 block that I plan to use. Sorry I forget there name but they have an excellent reputation. I wish I could remember the name for you. Andrew, the badge guy, lives in Columbus. Good luck.
I am in the wrong end of Ohio tomorrow, but it could be as simple as CPS, when running rough, it will cough up some smoke. I doubt if it anything major....too bad I wasn't that way today....Andrew might be able to help if you can find him....
