Default Support Annette in the Susan G Komen 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk

I will be participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Breast Cancer walk in November, 2012. I will be traveling to San Diego and will be walking 60 miles over the course of three days with thousands of other women and men. This will be my 3rd Year as a Walker as I celebrate my 3rd Year as a Survivor.

Several of my Crossfire friends expressed an interest in making a donation and have asked me to post a link to my fundraising website. Below is the link: 2012 San Diego 3-Day: Mrs. Annette M Kirscher - The Susan G. Komen 3-Day

Thank you in advance for your support!

Annette

p.s. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. An important message to all the women out there ~ If you haven't scheduled your annual Mammogram do it today.... It could save your life! It saved mine...

Jim,
WOW! THANK YOU SO MUCH for your VERY GENEROUS donation! Unfortunately, Bruce won't be joining me in San Diego, but I'll be taking lots of pictures and will post a link for people to track my progress...

Thanks again,
Annette

Awesome job Annette! If you're still in San Diego, I suggest tomorrow be a "Spa Day" on Coronado Island to rest those aching muscles.

Well done

Thanks Everyone! Had a FANTASTIC time in California. Had a very busy trip. Headed out there with Bronchitis so spent a lot of time coughing, but this wasn't going to stop me... Here's a glimpse of what my trip was like: 11/12 - Drove from San Diego to Norco, CA. Victoria Gardens for dinner, shopping with my cousin Rebeca; 11/13 - Had a great day with my cousins Rebeca & her sister Laura. Though we were originally going to go on a Whale Watching Excursion, I had to take a pass to try to get over my cold. First we went to Seal Beach where we had lunch, walked down the pier, saw a seal feeding by the pier, walked around the shops, stopped for some ice cream. Then headed over to "Little Italy" where Rebeca & I walked past some very EXPENSIVE homes along a canal. I sure could live there! Finally headed over to Long Beach for dinner. Had a wonderful day! Weather was around 86 degrees-perfect!; 11/14 - Rebeca and I went to Living Desert in Palm Desert, CA. Again the weather was 86 degrees and sunny. Had a perfect day walking around and seeing the animals. Then we stopped to visit my Uncle Samuel. Had a wonderful visit. Finally stopped for dinner and then back to the hotel...; 11/15 - Heading back to San Diego to check into my hotel and get some rest before the walk; 11/16 - Completed 20 miles without any issues. Weather was a sunny 68º and no rain. Still coughing, but hope to be get better soon; 11/17 - Completed another 20 miles = resulted in a blister on my baby toe and sore muscle in my right leg. Also have a little rattling going on in my lungs, but still feeling pretty good. Will have to take care of the blister and soak in the tub.; 11/18 - Mother Nature decided to drizzle on us for about 15 minutes, but otherwise the weather was sunny. Completed the last 20 miles - 60 Miles Baby! Still having a problem with the blister on the baby toe (a little painful), toes are a little swollen and sore muscles. Another soak in the tub helped tremendously...; 11/19 - Drove back to Norco, CA to spend more time with my cousin Rebeca and her family. Went to Big Bear Mountain. So now I've gone to the beach, the desert & the mountains... Coughing really bad today.; 11/20 - Spent the day at Calico Ghost Town. Weather was fabulous again.; 11/21 - Drove back to San Diego for my trip back home. Had a wonderful trip!

Wishing all my Crossfire friends a Happy Thanksgiving.
