Hobbies...other than Crossfires
Recently found the Chess game in the computers files. Thought what the heck, haven't played in a year of Sundays...
Anyway, one thing led to another, and I ordered a nice set of Men from a place out on Long Island. Being the kind of DIY'er, I wanted to see if I could make a nice board worthy enough to show off these new Men.
See what you think....just a few shots

As always, Terry, you amaze me with your craftsmanship
My current hobby is turning a wide open, completely unfinished, 70+ year old basement into a laundry room, workshop, full bath w/ shower, theatre room, and large wetbar. I am 80% of the way there, bathroom 100% complete and almost all the flooring done, just need to build my dream bar

Most of mine have been sidelined by one interest, building my next house.
On a good day I d be doing the crossfire, RC planes, Electronics ( currently restoring a 1939 ROBOT w green eye Zenith), Ham radio, watching satellites and shooting stars, and of course the cats. They are more than pets, oh yeah.

Well as my screen name suggests I skateboard

I just got married so I added a full time job on top of my full time job

and I have two kids to add a full time job to the full time job on top of my full time job

Other than that, the very little free time I get is spent on the V8 swap, fixing the house up that we bought last year, and my 3 lb/hp toy...

Photography, bicycling, off-roading my Jeep and keeping my fleet clean detailed and running fine. Another hobby by default is helping my wife with her hobby, taking care of the animals. Our dog and cats, bird and a few strays that seem to find her not to mention leaving food for a few strays she finds around the area.
that board looks great.. that actually reminded me that I wanted to get a nice chess set for the home office we're redoing... going for a Steampunk type theme and making a set might not be a bad idea.. though I don't think mine would come out as clean looking as yours
