My Father Passed Away
I appreciate the sentiments everyone, with the diagnosis he knew it would happen sometime soon but somehow it was still so sudden.
Army guy
Signal Corp guy
and car guy. (I'm all 3)
What a great guy!
My Dad did the military (Navy) was a electronics nut and tinkered with cars when he had to.
Sounds like your Dad and mine will get along just find up there!

Larry that is such sad news. It sounds like your Father had a wonderful Family, and lived a full life. Allbeit, much to short. Try to find some comfort knowing he's in a better place.
Wow, what a Dad you had Larry. I was around midgets and sprint cars a lot when I was younger and my Dad always took me to the Joey Chitwood shows at the fairgrounds. It is a tough loss Larry, as I miss my Dad as well. But you will have his memories and will always have him in your heart. Be in peace my friend.
So sorry for your loss, my father passed in 1979 and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him or something we did together. One of my favorite sayings is
"Its not the destination, it's the journey." It sound like your father had a long and incredibly rewarding journey, we should all be so fortunate. RIP Edward P. Hitze

Larry - So sad to learn of your loss. I know the pain that you & family are feeling. Feb 5th was the 5-year anniversary of my father's passing. The hurt never goes away and it shouldn't. But we learn to move on with life.
Roberta & I have you & family in our thoughts.
Condolences,

Condolences,
What really made the hurt go away is my daughter had my 8 month old grand daughter at my dads house that night. Well the grand daughter kept the biggest smile whenever she looked at me.
