Default Annoying ads

Is it just me or does everyone get these annoying ads that scroll over the page, mainly at the bottom right across the page but move up and down over the posts you are trying to read when scrolling on my iPad. Dam annoying and yes you can press the x to get rid of them but that doesn't always work on an iPad and coes back every time you refresh.

I must say it has actually stopped me viewing this site as much as I used too !!!!

Yes, I get them.

The other annoying ads are the ones which slightly hide the Tag banner where the New Post quene resides. They slide down sometimes just as you got to key New Posts.
Allstate ones are the worst.

The one at the top trips me out because it uses my cookies to determine what to put up there. It's normally something from the F1 store, but earlier I was looking at Mont Blanc fountain pens and that's the add thats up there right now.

Yep Hotmail and facebook does that all the time, it always puts ads on related to things I have recently looked at. The ads on this forum are a real pain because the scroll over the posts and as you move up and down they scroll with you. At least other site ads appear on the side and don't get in the way of reading posts. Like I said it has actually put me off using this site to search for things. Now I go to google.

My favorite ad complaint was during the recent election cycle. I had to stare at a political ad but could not comment on it.

Adblock Plus works. I forget there are even ads on most websites until I see a post like this. It's free too.

Adblock is cool. Ghostery is pretty amazing too.
