I am real close to the purchase of a 04 Coupe. Car is white w/grey interior. Car has had 2 owners and was damaged and fixed on the right side 12/30/11. Vin # is 1C3AN69L24X010245. Car is listed at $10,995. with 50,500 miles. I guess I would like any owner to let me know what I should look out for. Thanks very much!

Just off the hip, it sounds a bit high for a N/A with 50K that has had damage. You might get a CarFax report on it to see the extent of the damage. Does it have a clear title or did the damage push it to a salvage title? It doesn't take much damage to cause insurance companies to write these cars off. Not that a salvage title is bad if you are buying the car to keep, but it could be a negotiating point if the damage was not too severe. Is it at a dealer? Can you post a web site where it can be seen? That might help us give an evaluation of it.

Also - Welcome to the forum!!

Agreed. 11K on a '04 NA with 50,500 and prior damage is much too high. I'd be thinking 7-8K.

Thanks for the quick response....The car can be seen on 'Autotrader.com' ID# AT-15E668ED. I've seen the car since it's about 10 miles from where I live. It's at a dealer, and looks great. I can't see any signs of damage as was reported on 'CarFax' report. Car is perfect, no body wear, interior is clean, even the wheels have no curb rash. I know the dealers have a few $ into the price, but now much? If I offer them $8995. all they can say is no right?

For a 04 if you like it I would start at 7500, take a printout of the Nada or kbb value with you
