Gas Prices!

Well I know everyone is enjoying the drop in gas prices we've been experiencing for several months. Price for Unleaded Regular in Upstate SC got to below $1.90/gallon here this week.

Later,

Paid $2.23 for regular but premium still has a 30c premium (normally 10% more) and diesel is $2.84. Orlando is usually higher than central Florida but lower than the gold coast.

Consider yourself fortunate. Regular here is now $2.19-$2.29, 93 octane is $2.89-$3.10

What the hell is that about?

Re: Gas Prices!

$1.87 for reg. $2.07 for premium.. Never thought I'd see prices like these again.

Re: Gas Prices!

For regular we are down to $4.22 per Imperial (larger gallon) translates to $0.94 per litre at 4.54 L per Imp gallon. But we were at $1.31 not long ago

This is all a plot to destroy the American oil industry - just like in the 1980's.

Thornh 12-24-2014 03:39 PM

Re: Gas Prices!

Yes, old thread...I'm seeing a $0.70 difference between regular(87) an premium(93). Is everyone else, seeing that big of a gap. I do save about $0.30 a gal. w/fuel bucks from Kroger's at local Shell stations in Tn.

Re: Gas Prices!

Not in north Georgia. Less than 40 cents difference here.
I'll be filling the car up tomorrow so I'll try to note what I'm paying. Regular is around $2.20 here.

I have been to four corners many times but only got close today. Don't remember gas but there is lots of jewelry for sale.

:( Used to be (when gas was this low in price couple years or so ago) the separation between regular, mid, and premium, was only @ 10 cents each. Now they are FRACKING ridiculous. Doesn't cost any more to make those same grades, its the market that is driving that high a separation. Oil going down, octane ratios vs regular are through the roof and most likely going to get worse the more cars/trucks that use 91/93 octane. Rant OVER! :(

I don't understand how they can raise prices so quickly upon the news that something affecting supply is going to happen in a few days from the current day. They've already paid for the gas in their supply tanks at the current prices. Not the new prices. That's just price gouging.

This is a term I've heard used by the oil and gas people,

Up like a rocket and down like a feather.

Trump is looking after the economy first, war is good for the economy. Trouble is that Rocket Man has dangerous toys, not the imaginary WMDs of Sadam Hussein we were lied to about. What's a nuclear missile or two to worry about anyway, the US has them by the hundreds.
Nuclear fallout? Everyone could do with two heads anyway.;)

With the highly accurate guidance technology NK exhibits (not) you could find Canada saying WTF and Kimmy saying "my bad".. Just food for thought.

If the choice is between universal healthcare and a barrage of misinformation the vote goes to the person who ends up promising tax cuts for the top 10%.
This happened somewhere,
Timbuktu I think.

Just dropping under $2.50 for 87 PON in O'town Premium 93 PON (about 98 RON) is running 40c more which is a big jump (was about 10%)

Another war you cannot win. Good for business though.

Why can't Rocket man and Trumpet man sit down together and discuss their hair styles, both could do with a new stylist.
I call him Trumpet man because he is always blowing his own.

The Republican party has always been a strong supporter of the military and, as such, needs a war to demonstrate the value.

Winning a war is not necessary judging by the record, WWII being the last win.
Eisenhower warned about the arms industry calling the shots.

Trump said "we will totally destroy NK " at his UN speech.

the world took that as meaning "we will nuke em "

and nukes would be the only way to do that really :(
