Watched the 2005 movie “The Island” recently (Scarlet Johansson, Ewan McGregor, Steve Buscemi) and was surprised to see about 8 or 9 Crossfires in the background chase scenes, including a yellow roadster. DaimlerChrysler clearly won the product placement contract for that movie, as all the police vehicles were Chrysler 300s or Dodge Magnums. This was also around the time that Snoop Dogg became the 300 spokesperson.
