Default Looking for a Chrysler dealership in NE Ohio that has a working DRB III

Turns out that the Aurora Ohio Chrysler dealership's DRB III is out of commission and, after paying through the nose to have the last two original TPMS sensors installed, they aren't able to successfully pair them to my car.

I had the other two replaced by Napleron Chrysler in Clermont Florida a few months ago prior to bringing my car back to Northeast Ohio.

Anyone know of a Chrysler dealership within 100 miles of Cleveland that can still perform this service?

If the cost is bad enough it might be time to get a scanner and do it yourself. It sounds like the scanner would pay for itself.

Good luck with ANYTHING dealing with a dealership. I suppose you have a lot of $, I am sure the 'd(st)ealerships' will accept all your checks/CC's with glee! I am supposing (given their histories to date) you'll be taken for a ride like so many others.

Try calling around to local tire shops. They might not have one but could know of a shop that does. Where the old ones working if so get them back they are easily cloned. Any tire shop can clone a working one.
While there are a few Chrysler and Mercedes shops that are familiar with the crossfire most are not. A big problem with dealers is you never talk to a mechanic just a service writer. Another issue is the mechanics that had the factory training on Xfires 18 years ago were the better mechanics. Which generally means experienced probably retired now.

They have a Micropod and it has the DRB 3 emulator software installed and they can use that to program all 4 sensors to the car.

They registered the new TPMS sensors with their emulator, but that didn't work. They are going to call me when their mechanic is ready to try again.

delete them and use the stem pressure sensing color caps. Tire pressure sensors are fine when they work, and nothing when they fail but a $$$ loser. I even got rudy to tell me how to bypass the idiot light. Too many wheels to keep them aligned, if you add slicks youll know what I mean. Woody

I hope this 'mechanic' isn't racking up the $$$...
