Haha i found that quarter thing on accident the other day cleaning the interior, i thought i broke it. So we can pop the hood straight up? my '86 300E benz does that.

When you open your hood on the hood support there is a button you can push and raise your hood to 90 degrees (straight up).

Shame the knuckleheads put a place for coins (like you couldn't just put them in the ashtray) and didn't make it a useful cup holder!!!! It would've been a near perfect place for a cup holder.

Here is another one for you.

When you get out of your car to go to the grocery store and the weather is cold, press the recirculate button and it will run for maybe 10 minutes and pump out warm air. When you return to the car, it will be warm and comfortable.

Just a little tid bit you might enjoy.

Default 16 quarts in a 9 quart bag

As part of selling my SRT-6 on ebay I took a photo of how I store $4.00 worth of quarters in the hidden coin holder at the front of the ashtray.

Click to go to my gallery, which has a HUGE version of this picture.

I just wish it was a little wee bit wider and the iPhone would fit perfectly in there... oh well.

I always thought it would be neat to mount a remote start button on the front of the secret ashtray. If anything it would be very stealthy and very Batmobile-like to flip down the front and push the button to fire up the engine...LOL
